Overview
Lucky Eight Auto is currently looking for a full time Licensed Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing automotive repairs and general maintenance on both new/used, foreign and domestic vehicles. We provide full mechanical to our customers including oil & filter changes, tune-ups, brake services, emission repairs, tire repairs, wheel balancing, safety inspections and much more.
Position Requirements:
Sound knowledge of mechanics of all types of vehicles.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Inspect, diagnosis, and repair vehicles.
Repair of electrical, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Perform maintenance related work as required
Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate willingness to learn and succeed.
Self motivator able to work independently with a positive attitude.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Must have own tools
Steel-toed safety boots
Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Dependable team player with excellent communications skills. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
