Auto Body Technician

Overview

A busy, certified collision repair centre is seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and has experience restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while meeting manufacturer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies and structures following collision

• Perform body panel repairs, replacements, and alignments

• Straighten frames and unibody structures using appropriate equipment

• Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing

• Work with estimators and technicians to ensure accurate and efficient repairs

• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or Collision Repair Technician

• Auto Body Technician certification or apprenticeship (preferred)

• Experience with frame straightening equipment and body repair tools

• Knowledge of modern vehicle construction and repair techniques

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Valid driver’s license
