Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality repairs, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Repair damaged vehicle body panels, frames, and structural components.
- Remove, replace, and align body panels, bumpers, doors, fenders, and other vehicle components.
- Perform dent repairs using appropriate repair techniques.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, filling, and priming surfaces.
- Operate frame straightening and measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret repair estimates and manufacturer repair procedures.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other team members to ensure timely repairs.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Licensed Auto Body Technician or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a collision repair facility.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and industry standards.
- Ability to use body repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
